Places to Stay
Chatsworth is a small town and has limited hotel accommodations, however there are plenty of places to stay nearby. Consider either Dalton, 15 minutes away or Cartersville (near Hwy 411 and I-75), 40 minutes away.
If you're staying on Fort Mountain (state park, cabin rentals, etc.) or do not want to take a shuttle bus to the start then someone can drop you off at the Overlook Inn parking area. Make sure the driver leaves well in advance of 7:30am or they will be behind runners the whole way down Hwy 52. We suggest getting dropped off by 7:15am, if you choose to get your own ride to the start (Ft. Mountain/Overlook Inn), rather than take the shuttle bus from the finish line (Chatsworth/City Park).
